Projekta mērķis:

The REnForce project aims to enhance Armenia’s Vocational Education and Training (VET) system, with a specific emphasis on the renewable energy sector. It seeks to strengthen VET institutions across Armenia, including those in regions and Yerevan, by enhancing the skills and knowledge of their personnel. Moreover, the project aims to modernise existing educational programs to better align with industry needs, thereby reducing the skills gap in the labour market and promoting work-based learning opportunities.

The proposed project also intends to foster collaboration between labour market stakeholders and VET institutions. This will be achieved through the establishment of a Solar Energy and VET Institution Association, alongside the creation of a dedicated training and resource center. Upon completion of the project, it is expected:

  • teaching and administrative staff of 4 Armenian VET institutions are well trained and equipped with necessary knowledge and skills.
  • two educational programs in 4 VET institutions are being modified/introduced to incorporate a work-based learning approach
  • over 40 students are enrolled in the revised programs
  • Association and training center are established for ensuring the project’s impact and further sustainability.

Overall, the project foresees involvement of more than 250 direct and more than 300 indirect beneficiaries.
