Course catalogueStep 1 – Nomination
Erasmus applicants first need to be nominated to RISEBA Erasmus Office by the Erasmus coordinator of the sending university by completing online application form by partner university coordinator that is sent to all partner universities before nomination period starts.
Nomination deadlines are the following:
- October 15 – for Spring semester (February – June)
- March 15 – for Autumn semester (September – January)
Step 2 – Application
After nomination by partner university student will receve an e-mail with Online application form that has to be filled to receive access to online registration appication.
At last, students submit complete application to RISEBA online application system:
Application deadlines:
- November 15 – for Spring semester (February – June)
- April 15 — for Autumn semester (September – January)
Documents required to submit:
- a completed Learning agreement
- transcript of records
- a passport photocopy or ID card photocopy
- an international health insurance photocopy
- proof of solid English language knowledge at B2 level or higher – Letter of recommendation or TOEFL/ IELTS certificate

Visa: Latvia is member of European Union, EU/EEA citizens are not required to have a visa to enter Latvia.
All non-EU students have to contact the International department, regarding the student entry requirements application guidelines and deadlines.

Orientation Days are designed to familiarise incoming exchange students with the study process, academic expectations, and administrative procedures at RISEBA, while also addressing practical aspects of student life. Orientation days cover a wide range of topics and activities, including campus tours, informative presentations, guidance on obtaining public transport and ISIC cards, library resources, health services, and safety in Riga, among others. Students also have the opportunity to meet fellow international students and explore the city of Riga.
Orientation Days typically take place a few days before the official start of the semester, with details sent to all incoming exchange students
