Project objective
The overall objective of the DITEL project is to accelerate the digital transformation of higher education in Ukraine by creating a network of Centres for Innovative Learning and Research within partner universities.
Specific objectives include:
- strengthening digital infrastructure and resources by creating modern, technology-equipped learning and research environments;
- developing institutional capacity in digital transformation through training of academic and administrative staff;
- promoting innovative technology-based teaching and learning approaches (such as blended learning, digital laboratories and simulations);
- strengthening international cooperation with EU partners through the exchange of best practices;
- improving accessibility, inclusion and lifelong learning opportunities through digital education solutions.
Planned activities
Project activities are structured into Work Packages and include:
- project management, coordination and quality assurance;
- establishment and equipment of Innovative Learning and Research Centres within partner universities;
- development and piloting of digital study courses, curricula and pedagogical approaches;
- training of academic and administrative staff in digital competences and the use of educational technologies;
- implementation of international cooperation activities, including exchange of experience with EU higher education institutions;
- communication, dissemination and sustainability activities to ensure the use of project results beyond the project duration.
