Project purpose: The project aims to strengthen the capacity of universities in Moldova, Armenia and Georgia (partner countries) by increasing digital skills and knowledge on different teaching methods, online curriculum development and quality student engagement in different learning formats.
RISEBA, as the representative of the European Union, together with other EU partners, developed curricula on digitisation topics and delivered lecture courses.
It also trained faculty members from partner universities to develop online courses. Once the online courses were developed by the faculty members of the partner universities, the EU partners evaluated the courses, making recommendations and comments. On the basis of the recommendations made, additional lecture programmes were prepared and delivered in each of the partner countries.
Achievements:
The project developed 5 high quality online courses in English (teaching materials, presentations and video lectures), which are already being used in university teaching, e.g. distance learning, lifelong learning or to complement teaching materials in Bachelor and Master level programmes.
