
RISEBA has been accredited by the Ministry of Education and science of the Republic of Latvia.
- The study field “Economics” is accredited until August 5th, 2027.
- The study field “Management, Administration and Management of Real Property” is accredited until October 14th, 2027.
- The study field “Architecture and Construction” is accredited until February 2nd, 2029.
- The study field “Arts” is accredited until December 11th, 2031.
- The field of study “Information and Communication Sciences” is accredited until June 6th, 2030.
All study programmes at RISEBA University of Applied Sciences are delivered within accredited fields of study, which entitle the University to award state-recognised higher education qualifications. All RISEBA fields of study are accredited for the maximum period of six years.
Following the amendments to the Law on Higher Education Institutions adopted on 12 March 2026, Latvia is transitioning from the accreditation of fields of study to the institutional accreditation of higher education institutions. In accordance with Paragraphs 124 and 125 of the Transitional Provisions of the Law on Higher Education Institutions, RISEBA is authorised to award state-recognised higher education qualifications until a decision on the University’s institutional accreditation is adopted, but no later than 30 June 2032.

Two RISEBA programmes have obtained EFMD accreditation:
1. Professional Bachelor’s programme “European Business studies”
2. Professional Master’s programme “International Business”
EFMD Programme Accreditation is the leading international system for quality assessment, improvement and accreditation of business programmes.

Re-accreditation of CEEMAN European institutional in the quality of business education has been obtained.
