Swedbank ISIC
With the Basic Package, the Swedbank ISIC card is free of charge for young people under 25!
The free Basic Package includes a Swedbank ISIC or debit card, as well as payments to other banks.
For those aged 6 to 22, there is no limit on the number of free payments to other banks, while those aged 23 to 25 can make up to 10 free payments.
ISIC Swedbank RISEBA card will simultaneously be as RISEBA student card, ISIC card and International Payment Card MasterCard – free card payments in Latvia and abroad, possibility to shop online without additional commission.
ISIC Swedbank RISEBA student card will be valid for one year. Every year it must be made from scratch. First year students receive and use Swedbank ISIC card free of charge for the first year. The annual fee of the card for the next years is 5.50 EUR.
Sign your ISIC card at the time of signing the study contract or on the site www.swedbank.lv. When the card is ready you will receive a text message. Head to the chosen branch, taking with you a passport or eID and a certificate that you are studying. It is also possible to receive the card by mail. List of bank branches.
Swedbank ISIC will serve as your RISEBA student ID, ISIC card and international MasterCard payment card all in one. Enjoy free card payments in Latvia and abroad, as well as the option to shop online without additional fees.
The Swedbank ISIC RISEBA student card is valid for one year and must be renewed annually. First-year students receive and use their Swedbank ISIC card free of charge during their first year. The monthly card fee is EUR 0.55.
Apply for your ISIC card when signing your study agreement or via www.swedbank.lv/jauniesiem. You will receive a text message when your card is ready. ISIC (International Student Identity Card) is the only internationally recognised student ID card for full-time and part-time students. Every year, it is used by 5 million young people in 130 countries worldwide.
The card has a fixed validity period, starting at the beginning of the current academic year in September and running until the end of the following calendar year in December. For example: 09/2022–12/2023.
The standard price when ordering through RISEBA is EUR 7.15, while ordering through ISIC Latvia costs EUR 8.00.
When applying, you may be asked to provide proof of your student status (a certificate issued within the last 3 months or a valid student ID), a valid identity document and a photograph.
