Programme accreditation

All study programmes at RISEBA University of Applied Sciences are delivered within accredited fields of study, which entitle the University to award state-recognised higher education qualifications. All RISEBA fields of study are accredited for the maximum period of six years.

Following the amendments to the Law on Higher Education Institutions adopted on 12 March 2026, Latvia is transitioning from the accreditation of fields of study to the institutional accreditation of higher education institutions. In accordance with Paragraphs 124 and 125 of the Transitional Provisions of the Law on Higher Education Institutions, RISEBA is authorised to award state-recognised higher education qualifications until a decision on the University’s institutional accreditation is adopted, but no later than 30 June 2032.

The study field “Economics” is accredited until 5 August 2027. The following study programmes are included in the field of study:
