We invite students to apply for social scholarship “Studētgods”
From February 1 to 20, students up to and including the age of 25 who meet the eligibility criteria can apply for the €175/month “Studētgods” social scholarship. The application must be submitted electronically using the Latvija.lv service “Studētgods”.
Students up to and including 25 years of age in full-time bachelor’s and college programmes of Latvian higher education institutions can apply:
“Young person 3+” – three or more children registered in the Register of Natural Persons of at least one of the student’s parents;
“Parent 3+” – the student has three or more children of his/her own registered in the Register of Natural Persons;
“Orphan/parentless” – the student is registered as an orphan or parentless young person in the Register of Natural Persons until the age of 18;
” Disability group I or II” means a student with a disability group I or II.
The “Studētgods” scholarship is subject to a number of conditions. When entering university, the results of centralised exams at the optimal level in mathematics must be no lower than 30%, and in Latvian no lower than 40%. During the study period, the weighted average mark must be at least six points, the student must be successful and free of academic debts, etc. All conditions can be found here.
Students who have received a social scholarship “Studētgods” in the previous semester must apply for the social scholarship “Studētgods” every academic semester – 1st semester from September 1 to 20 and 2nd semester from February 1 to 20.
