RISEBA Students to Participate in SELL Games 2026 for the First Time
On Thursday, May 7, student-athletes visited the Rector of the RISEBA University of Applied Sciences ahead of their participation in the international student sports event SELL Games 2026. This will mark the first time RISEBA students take part in the SELL Games, representing the university in four sports disciplines- judo, chess, weightlifting, and 7×7 football.
During the meeting, the Rector wished the students endurance, team spirit, and success in the upcoming competitions, symbolically passing on the “baton” before the Games. On May 10, the RISEBA football team will also participate in the inter-university friendly tournament. More information about the tournament is available here: Latvian Universiade 2025/2026
At SELL Games 2026, RISEBA will be represented by students from the study programmes Public Relations and Advertising Management, Audiovisual Arts and Media Arts, and European Business Studies, highlighting the university’s commitment not only to academic excellence but also to an active and well-rounded student lifestyle.
