RISEBA Showcases International Career Development Tools at the Conclusion of the Erasmus+ FIETE Project
The project outcomes were presented at final conferences held across Europe, including in Berlin, as well as at a conference organised by RISEBA for students, academic staff and other interested participants. The events showcased the learning resources developed throughout the project and demonstrated their practical application.
The FIETE project has produced three interconnected learning modules covering the entire international internship journey – preparing for an internship, developing professional and intercultural skills during the placement, and making effective use of the experience afterwards by creating a competitive CV, enhancing a LinkedIn profile, and preparing for job interviews.
Student involvement was a particularly important part of the project. RISEBA students tested the learning modules, provided feedback for further improvement, and helped ensure that the resources are practical and meet the needs of young people. RISEBA experts were responsible for developing the During the International Internship module, creating content on professional skills development, collaboration in international working environments, and job shadowing opportunities.
The project materials are available in six languages, making them accessible to a wide audience across Europe. This is another example of how international cooperation contributes to the development of modern learning solutions while strengthening students’ competitiveness in the European labour market.
Career opportunities across Europe are also among the key considerations for prospective students and their parents. RISEBA’s participation in Erasmus+ and other European projects provides not only valuable international study experience but also practical tools and professional networks that help students launch their careers successfully.
This commitment to supporting students’ career development is also reflected in the achievement of the President of the RISEBA Student Council, who has been selected as Latvia’s EU Careers Ambassador for the 2026/2027 academic year. This autumn, she will represent Latvia at training in Luxembourg, where she will begin preparing for her role as a careers ambassador for the European Personnel Selection Office (EPSO).
