RISEBA Rector Irina Senņikova Participates in the Official Visit of the President of Latvia to Azerbaijan

On 22–23 April 2026, RISEBA Rector Irina Senņikova took part in the official visit of the President of the Republic of Latvia, Edgars Rinkēvičs, to Azerbaijan. The visit brought together representatives from government, business, and institutions to strengthen bilateral cooperation.

During the visit to Baku, a business forum and B2B meetings with Azerbaijani partners were held, fostering dialogue across sectors and highlighting new directions for collaboration. Such visits play an important role in advancing international relations, with a strong focus on innovation, sustainability, and knowledge exchange.

As part of the programme, the Rector also visited ADA University, a long-standing partner of RISEBA. Meetings with university representatives and leadership opened up new opportunities for academic and creative collaboration.

As noted by Rector Irina Senņikova:
“It was a real pleasure to visit our long-standing partner, ADA University, and to meet colleagues for such open and inspiring conversations about the future of our collaboration. A special thanks for the opportunity to meet with the Rector as well – it made the visit even more meaningful. The current positive momentum in Latvian–Azerbaijani relations makes this an especially exciting time to think about new ideas and broader cooperation – not only in business, but also in creative fields like architecture, design, and audiovisual media. I was truly impressed by the campus and facilities, but even more by the warmth and generosity of the hosts. Thank you for such a memorable visit.”

Participation in a visit of this level highlights RISEBA’s active engagement in international cooperation and its strategic commitment to developing new partnerships across academic, creative, and business environments.
