04.09.2024. Worldly Wednesday
At the “Worldly Wednesday” event, we informed our students about Erasmus+ opportunities and exchange programs. We want to thank everyone who shared their experiences and inspired students to participate in Erasmus+ exchanges. The event also included panel discussions and an interactive seminar with lecturer Trūdija Žagare.

16.09.2024. HACKATON 2024
On September 16th, RISEBA’s Aisteres Hall, located at Aisteres Street 2, hosted an exciting hackathon for first-year master’s and part-time, distance learning bachelor’s students. The central theme was “design thinking.” The event, led by Charles Bušmanis, saw 12 teams actively solve problems and develop innovative solutions. The hackathon ran from 5:00 PM to 9:30 PM and was part of the Introduction Week activities dedicated to new students. Such events provide participants with the opportunity to develop critical thinking skills, collaborate with other students, and create innovative ideas. Hackathons at RISEBA are not rare, as our main goal is to not only teach but also help students understand how their knowledge can be applied in practice. These events provide students with practical experience and the chance to use their skills to solve real-world problems.
17.09.2024. INFO Day
INFO Day was held online via the ZOOM platform. Part-time and distance learning bachelor’s students, as well as master’s students, were informed about the study environment, e-riseba and my.riseba systems, the use of e-libraries and databases, international and ERASMUS+ opportunities, and career development possibilities, as well as introduced to the RISEBA Student Council.
