Information on Changes to RISEBA’s Educational Institution Registration Number
At the end of 2025, the founder of the University of Applied Sciences, Arts and Technology “RISEBA” made a decision to change the type of higher education institution from a “university of applied sciences” to a “higher education institution of applied sciences”.
In connection with these changes, the State Education Quality Service, by its decision of 9 September 2026, amended the Register of Educational Institutions, including changing RISEBA educational institution registration number.

The changes take effect from the moment the decision is signed.
The change in the educational institution registration number does not affect any existing contractual relationships. Accordingly, existing study agreements do not need to be re-signed as a result of these changes.
At the same time, the registration number of “University of Applied Sciences, Arts and Technology “RISEBA”” SIA as a legal entity in the Register of Enterprises of the Republic of Latvia remains unchanged.
