A new TV series is in production with RISEBA
On the 7th of August, RISEBA, together with many talented alumni and current students of our university, finished filming for the new TV series “Rating’s race” by Vadims Zaikovskis, which promises to inspire both young and experienced film enthusiasts. The series will premiere this November on Go3 and will be shown in all three Baltic States.
The series “Rating’s race” is centred on a modern young man who has just graduated with honours from university and dreams of entering the film industry. He is full of determination and passion, but everyday life proves to be full of challenges and obstacles.
Part of the series was filmed in RISEBA’s premises, which are conveniently used for such purposes. Students from our university also took part in the making of the series, which is a great practice and experience, as you can work together with professional directors, cameramen and other industry experts, learning from their experience and getting an idea of how a real film crew works.
The original series “Rating’s race” is produced by Vadims Zaikovskis and directed by Ruslans Fradkins. Aigars Ceplītis, who is not only a docent, but also a RISEBA lecturer and film industry practitioner, is also featured as one of the actors in the series.
