RISEBA University of Applied invites you to join a bonding run during the annual RIMI Riga Marathon on May 19, 2024!
The first starting signal of the Riga Marathon was heard at the Freedom Monument on 27 July 1991 – shortly after the dramatic days of the Barricades. In more than thirty years of existence, the event has experienced the turbulent times of the 1990s, the loss of sponsors and participants in the early 2000s, a revival in 2007, the fastest growth in Northern Europe, crowned by the prestigious Gold Label from the World Athletics Union, and the covid times of pandemic restrictions and virtual running.
RIMI Riga Marathon is an opportunity to unite the RISEBA community, and we invite you to become one of us, enjoy the race and make new friends.
RISEBA offers 5 KM race for university students

The participation fee is covered by the university, if you do not attend, we inform you that you will have to cover the costs of the participation fee.
Please note that you will be able to pick up your race number as well as your university T-shirt at the Customer Service Centre, 3 Meža Street, and we will inform you when this is possible!
