RIXARCH LIV-IN – Event 2: Workshop “Urban Aid for Innovative Inhabitation Models”
31 March 2026 | 15:00–20:00
Dance Hall, H2O 6 Quarter
Durbes iela 4, Riga
As part of the annual RIXARCH Architecture Conference, an introductory event will take place focusing on urgent challenges in the urban environment and possible solutions. The opening event is planned as a collaborative workshop bringing together private and public property developers from Latvia, Estonia, and Lithuania, as well as international experts participating in the RIXARCH LIV-IN conference.
Developers are invited to present a specific challenge from their projects — a site, place, or situation that requires new ideas or potential solutions.
Working in small groups together with the conference keynote speakers and invited experts from Latvia, Germany, Denmark, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom, participants will analyse the presented cases and jointly explore possible scenarios and strategic approaches.
The workshop creates a practical environment where professional experience, research, and design thinking meet, generating new perspectives on innovative housing and inhabitation models, as well as future-oriented urban transformation.
Property developers, municipal representatives, planners, and urban professionals are warmly invited to participate in this hands-on session to explore new perspectives on innovative inhabitation models.
