RISEBA Faculty of Architecture and Design Signs Cooperation Agreement with the Latvian Association of Architects

The RISEBA Faculty of Architecture and Design (FAD) and the Latvian Association of Architects (LAS) have signed a cooperation agreement aimed at promoting the development of Latvia’s architectural sector and enhancing professional competencies.

The Faculty of Architecture and Design and the Latvian Association of Architects have already collaborated on a range of activities. The newly signed agreement establishes a framework for more focused and structured cooperation between higher education and the professional community.

One of the key areas of cooperation will be the professional development of FAD students, graduates and academic staff. The partnership will also provide opportunities to enhance the content of higher education in architecture, advance academic work and scientific research, and organise joint professional development activities.

The agreement will further encourage the exchange of experience between RISEBA teaching staff and LAS members. Representatives of the academic community will be able to share their professional knowledge while also developing their own competencies through interaction with industry professionals and future specialists.

“Architectural education cannot be separated from the professional environment. Giving students the opportunity to meet and collaborate with industry professionals while still studying enables them to gain a better understanding of both the day-to-day realities of the profession and the directions in which it is evolving,” emphasises the leadership of the RISEBA Faculty of Architecture and Design.

The newly signed cooperation agreement strengthens the shared commitment of RISEBA and the Latvian Association of Architects to fostering high-quality architectural education and a professional environment in which knowledge, experience and new ideas can freely interact.
