Sports Games 2026 Successfully Concluded
On 13–14 June, SPORTS GAMES 2026 took place, jointly organised by the RISEBA Student Council, the LUBA Student Council, the EKA Student Council, and the Krīvu Council of the Latvian National Academy of Defence.
Over the course of two days, seven teams tested their abilities in a variety of sporting, entertaining, and team-building activities. Participants competed in disciplines such as beach volleyball, football, dodgeball, relay races, and various team challenges. They also completed tasks where success depended not only on physical fitness but also on strategic thinking, communication, and mutual trust.
In addition to the sporting competitions, participants had the opportunity to take part in several team-building activities, including the “Blind Course”, “Gladiator Battle”, “Spider’s Web”, “Guess It”, “Sniper”, and other team-based challenges. These activities created a positive atmosphere, strengthened collaboration skills, and encouraged the formation of new friendships among students from different higher education institutions.
We are especially proud of the performance of the RISEBA students. Four RISEBA teams participated in the Games, all demonstrating outstanding motivation, team spirit, and determination. The greatest success was achieved by the RISEBA student team “Mamma man atļauj”, which secured 1st place and became the champions of SPORTS GAMES 2026.
A sincere thank you to all participants, organisers, and supporters for their hard work, energy, and positive attitude. SPORTS GAMES 2026 once again demonstrated that the strength of the student community lies not only in achievements but also in unity, mutual support, and the memories created together.
See you at the next Sports Games!
