RISEBA participates in the “Bērnu rīts” Foundation’s Motivation Forum for young people

On 30 May 2026, the charity foundation “Bērnu rīts” held its annual Motivation Forum for young people, bringing together around 100 participants. The aim of the event was to inspire young people to set ambitious goals, believe in their abilities and build a successful future.

For RISEBA, this event was particularly meaningful, as for the second year in a row, in cooperation with the “Bērnu rīts” Foundation and the Gaubšteins Family Foundation, a secondary school graduate supported by the foundation is being given the opportunity to begin studies at RISEBA in the bachelor’s study programme “Public Relations and Advertising Management”. This initiative is supported by RISEBA graduate, Alumni Club mentor, lecturer, entrepreneur and author of the book “My Own Mind, My Own Prison”, Ralfs Gaubšteins.

The head of the “Bērnu rīts” Foundation, Jaroslava Tomašēviča, together with the organisation’s team, annually brings together well-known professionals, entrepreneurs, athletes, coaches and opinion leaders through these motivation forums. This year, representatives of various fields shared their experience and inspiring stories at the forum, including boxer Milans Volkovs and entrepreneur Ralfs Gaubšteins.

The speakers emphasised the importance of determination, perseverance and personal responsibility on the path to success, while also offering young people practical advice on strengthening motivation, self-development and professional growth.
A particularly emotional moment of the event was the story of a young person who, in September 2025, thanks to the joint support of the “Bērnu rīts” Foundation and the Gaubšteins Family Foundation, began studies at RISEBA in the “Public Relations and Advertising Management” programme. He is now successfully completing his first year of studies. Although the student was unable to attend the forum in person, he had prepared a video greeting from the United States of America, where he had travelled just one day before the event. During the summer, the young man will take part in the international Southwestern Advantage Latvia programme, gaining valuable professional and personal experience in an international environment.

This story serves as a powerful example of how education, motivation and community support can help young people achieve their goals and build a successful future.
RISEBA highly values the opportunity to cooperate with organisations and initiatives that promote young people’s development and access to high-quality education. The university is proud of its students and graduates, who not only achieve professional success, but also actively engage in socially significant initiatives, supporting the next generation and encouraging positive change in society.

RISEBA is a place for motivated and goal-oriented students who wish to develop their knowledge, skills and leadership potential. We are grateful to our partners, graduates and organisations that help young people take important steps towards education, professional growth and the fulfilment of their dreams.
