RISEBA Students Gain International Experience at Technology Company DeskTime
This year, as part of the RISEBA Public Relations Internship course, students have the opportunity to gain experience at one of Latvia’s most internationally recognised technology companies – DeskTime. It is an environment where technology, innovation and modern entrepreneurship come together to create solutions with a global reach.
During the internship, students become familiar with the company’s operations, communication processes and digital product development, while also gaining insight into the daily work environment of an international company. Students acquire valuable professional experience and knowledge under the guidance of the company’s Marketing Director, Elvis Ābeltiņš, who shares his expertise on company growth, communication principles and working in the technology sector.
Particular attention during the internship is devoted to public relations and communication processes, analysing brand development and reputation building in the digital environment. Students have the opportunity to participate in practical tasks and explore the processes behind the creation of an internationally recognised technology brand.
DeskTime is part of Draugiem Group, which brings together several internationally successful technology companies founded in Latvia. The group has developed widely recognised brands such as Printful, Mapon and other innovative solutions that successfully operate in the global market.
The collaboration between RISEBA and DeskTime provides students with the opportunity to strengthen their professional skills, develop strategic thinking and gain practical experience in a modern and international working environment.
